The Rouna estate is located in the upper Vipava Valley. The secluded winegrowing farm lies amid green nature, fields and vineyards, about a kilometre from the nearby village of Slap. The estate owes its special charm to the immediate vicinity of the vineyards, where more than ten different white and red grape varieties are cultivated. Recently, Muscat sparkling wine, rosé and vinjak (cognac) have been added to their range of white and red wines. The name of the idyllic estate dates back to the times of the Austro-Hungarian cadastral survey. The name Rouna was recorded in the 1765 cadastre and has been preserved to this day.
